As of 2014, The New Forest Catering Company is run by Martin Smith.

Martin was appointed head chef at Dibden Golf Course, at the tender age of 19 & has never looked back! Now well into his 30’s Martin has a portfolio as a head chef spanning 16 years, most recently as development chef for multi-site home-cooked heavyweights Caracoli, based throughout north Hampshire. Martin has payed his dues as a chef in 5 star hotels in London & Bristol & also spent 3 seasons as catering manager at Butlins Skegness, where he was responsible for 60 staff, producing some 50,000 covers per week.

Martin holds the revered NVQ grade 3 awards in cheffing, hospitality supervision, implementing food safety management procedures & food hygiene, not to mention, holding a personal alcohol license & being a trained first-aider!
